Ajwain Paratha

Wheat flour 2 cups
Ajwain 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Besan 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Oil 1 cup
Ghee 1 cup

1. In a large bowl, add wheat flour, salt, besan, red chilli powder, ajwain and 1 tbsp oil. Mix well.
2. Pour lukewarm water and knead a soft dough. Keep it aside for 20-30 minutes. Cover with a wet cottton cloth.
3. Heat a griddle (tawa).
4. Now take out equal portions of the dough and make round balls of them. Roll each portion into a roti. Spread oil and join it.
5. Roll again into a paratha and put on the tawa. Roast the paratha on the two sides and when it turns little brown, spread ghee on each side and roast.
6. Repeat the same process with each dough portion.
7. Ajwain paratha is ready to eat. Serve it hot with raita.
