Boondi Raita

boondi 50 gms
yogurt 200 gms
roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp
red chilli powder A pinch
black pepper powder A pinch
Chaat masala powder A pinch
Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste


1. Soak the boondi in normal water for 4-5 minutes, squeeze whole water and keep aside.
2. In a bowl beat the yogurt and add little bit of water.
3. Add salt and boondi and mix well with the yogurt.
4. Keep in the refrigerator until served.
5. While serving in individual bowls, place the boondi raita, sprinkle roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and chaat masala powder.
6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve this boondi raita with delicious vegetable rice and dal fry or with vegetable biryani.
