Makhane ki Kheer

Makhaanas, roasted dry for 3-4 min and roughly crushed 2 cups
Milk 6 cups
Kishmish 1 tbsp
Almonds, cut into thin long pieces 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 1/2 cup
green pistas, finely sliced A few
rose petals to garnish A few


1. Boil milk on low flame for 10-12 minutes. Add makhanas , almonds, kishmish and boil for 10-12 minutes, till slightly thick.
2. Add sugar. Boil again on high flame, stir for 10 minutes.
3. Cook till a thick kheer like consistency is obtained.
4. Garnish with sliced green pistas and rose petals. Serve chilled.
