Masala Chapati

Wheat Flour 400 grams
Red Chilli powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
Kasuri Methi 2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Chat Masala Powder(optional) 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds / Jeera powder 1 tsp
Curd 2 tbsp
Oil/Ghee 2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water to taste


1. Take a bowl and add all the ingredients except oil and water. Mix well.
2. Add water little by little and knead it well till a soft dough is formed which should not be sticky. Keep it covered for 20 to 30 minutes.
3. Knead the dough again to form small lemon sized balls.
4. Roll each ball into thin circles , use wheat flour or maida for dusting for smooth rolling.
5. Heat the Tawa in medium flame and cook both the sides of masala roti till golden color spots appear.
6. Now, the masala chapathi is ready to eat.
